Jane Dorner is a ‘mid-career-change artist’, coming to glass from very
nearly 40 years in publishing. Jane began her career as an art editor for
Longman and later migrated from picture researcher at Weidenfeld & Nicolson
to fiction reader for Penguin. She has written extensively for the press on
a wide variety of subjects from glass, poetry and music to computer software
reviews. On retirement she turned to mentoring people wishing to write their
memoirs.
