Co-founder of a writing agency called Wiseguides which produced business literature using direct setting

British adviser for Houghton Mifflin in development of the software Correct Grammar

Senior Research Officer for a British Library project at Middlesex Polytechnic leading to the publication of a report on authorship and technology
