Sally Bradshaw's The Soul
of Orpheus is a recital album of songs inspired by Ancient Greece
and includes Haydn's great cantata 'Arianna a Naxos'. Other
composer on this disc, which concentrates on music from 1800
to the present day, are Schubert, Brahms, Wolf, Debussy, Warlock
and Walton. The pianist is Philip Collin.
